Spotted on the local Facebook Marketplace:
Errr.... ‘car is in mint shape and is super reliable’
....considering the hood is mismatched, and the trunk is mismatched with peeling/missing/mismatched paint....and there are dents and scratches everywhere...I REALLY don’t think his definition of ‘Mint’ is the same as anybody else’s.
Also....’super reliable’ and ‘theres not a single thing on this car that hasn’t been replaced’....uh...don’t seem to go together, especially for a car with only 108,000km....

It’s a Cavalier, the standard for its condition is automatically low.

Oh, for sure, I just had a lot of good laughs at his description. :P

“if it weren’t for the undercoating you could eat off it”
Eat WHAT? Paint chips? That doesn’t seem healthy.

I am continually baffled as to how every single CL post has as many spelling errors as they do. Every browser, mobile device, basically anything we use daily has an automatic spell-checker built into it.
How does this continue to happen!?! I weep for our future. We are so fucked.

Eh, if it’s as solid and mechanically sound as he makes it out to me, I guess it’s not too bad. But...
A. If he’s had to do THAT much bodywork and mechanical work to it at only 108,000km, then that’s really overpriced in my eyes...yes, maybe new parts on it, but (as expected being a Cavalier), it’s pretty crap quality to have gone through all that this ‘early’ in it’s life and I bet the replacement parts aren’t much better, and there’s no telling how good his home bodywork repairs are...they may just be “cut out rust, fill with bondo” :/

How many miles on the original cluster tho? Does mileage even matter when literally every part on the car was swapped out with who knows what and then slathered in undercoating?
That is a $500 hooptie. The only thing mint about it is the air freshener.
